The famous Saint-Sulpice church, which is situated in the heart of St-Germain des Prés’ area in the 6th Arrondissement, has the size and plan of Notre-Dame de Paris. The first stone was laid in 1646 on the remains of an older and smaller church. If you are in this quarter, you cannot loose a visit to the Museum Zadkine, dedicated to the Russian sculptor Ossip Zadkine, and the Musée de la Monnaie, that shows the history of French coinage from Roman times to today.
